No. Connecticut's direct access law lets you begin physical therapy without a doctor's referral. Book an evaluation at West Haven or Hamden and start treatment directly. If your symptoms haven't improved after six visits or 30 days, whichever comes first, your therapist is required to refer you to a licensed healthcare provider.
