I have been going to SportsMed for different body parts and also have had vestibular therapy. Allan is an amazing DPT. He has incredible patience and skill. He really has helped me. I have nicknamed him Superman because he truly is amazing. I know I am a work in progress because of my MS diagnosis but I know I am in terrific hands with him and the addition of Dr Nicki. She is an amazing chiropractor. She is very thorough, kind, and she cares about my current condition. I feel relaxed in her presence and don’t tense up during adjustments. When that happens it just won’t work! Cande is a wonderful tech and knows so much. She is so helpful, kind and caring. The front office staff of Taylor and Ruthie are wonderful, always friendly and helpful. I would be amiss without mentioning Alexis. Even though she transferred offices, she was always so knowledgeable, helpful and kind as well. Also, if Allan is off, both Farnhan and Rini are both wonderful, knowledgeable DPTs as well. I highly recommend this office. You cannot go wrong with any staff member. Very professional. I am so happy to have found this place. Please note that this place is ♿ accessible with a ramp in the back, a handicap parking space, and has an accessible bathroom.

They tell you that there is no deductible, and it will only be a certain amount of copay. 2 weeks - 6 sessions later, you get a bill from sportsmed because your insurance has a deductible. Being a Physician Assistant i know how insurance companies work, but the front desk people even confirmed with me twice, that I will only be charged a copay and that there is no deductible. Now they tell me "sorry for the confusion" and offer me a payment plan. At least own up to the mistake you made and make amends to help out. Horrible Customer Service experience. Will not recommend to my patients or friends/family.

I had been to 3 physical therapists over a 6 month period to no avail- but ALAN at SportsMed Physical Therapy in Paramus was able to make immediate breakthrough on my frozen shoulder and stiff fingers following a distal radius fracture with CRPS (complex regional pain syndrome.) His manual technique and expert assessment is unrivaled and I'm thrilled to finally have someone who knows how to custom design a treatment plan for his patients. THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! Sheila.

The actual pt was going great until they ceased my mother's treatment due to billing issues as a result of a delay that has nothing to do with my mother and completely out of her control. We offered for payment to go through her personal insurance instead and they declined. It is really unfortunate that this company would rather cease treatment on an 83 yr old woman than work out an alternative.

A very pleasant experience from the front door to the therapist working on you. There is no waiting between activities. You never feel rushed; they take the time to listen to you.
