Dr. Janice De Guzman, PT, DPT obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Therapy in 2001; in 2015, completed her Doctorate of Physical Therapy at Utica College, NY.
With over 20 years of experience, Janice has treated various medical conditions, focusing on orthopedic, neurologic and vestibular conditions. She has seen many people who have been diagnosed with vestibular disorder, and can’t wait to help you through your recovery process!
She has studied and is proficient with various manual therapy techniques, including myofascial release, Maitland technique, McKenzie Method, and Mulligan Method. She has also trained in Kinesiotaping and Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM).
Janice has a special interest in treating patients who have been diagnosed with Vestibular Disorder. She has studied Vestibular Rehabilitation extensively, and has received certification as a Specialist through the American Institute of Balance.
In her free time, Janice loves to travel to different places and experience their cultures; she enjoys the beach, kayaking and playing volleyball during summer, and spending quality time with family and friends all year round.
Dr. Olha Hrechynsky obtained her undergraduate degree from Rutgers and her Doctorate of Chiropractic from Northeast College of Health Sciences (formerly NYCC).
She’s been working with a wide variety of patients for a long time and loves what she does because it helps people feel better and live better lives. She’s helped people with everything from back pain to major injuries to just feeling well enough to work every day.
She always wants her patients to know that they are being heard and respected, and that they are in control of their health care.
She believes in listening to her patients, taking time to truly understand them, and then working with them as partners to get their needs met.
Chiropractic care helps people achieve optimal wellness and enables them to function at the top of their game. Dr. Hrechynsky enjoys witnessing people starting to feel better after receiving care. In her free time she enjoys going out and trying new restaurants.
Francesca Kim L.AC is a licensed acupuncturist, board-certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM); additionally, she is certified in facial rejuvenation. Francesca has extensively studied various acupuncture techniques, including Korean 4 point Acupuncture, Japanese KiiKo Matsumoto’s technique, and Master Tung’s Acupuncture. Her varied training enables her to provide fast and lasting pain management and recovery from injury.Â
As an acupuncturist, Francesca’s goal is to always ensure patient satisfaction and safety, while focusing on pain management and rehabilitation.
Jo Ann Marquez, OTR/L, CHT obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Occupational Therapy in 1989, and now has over 30 years of experience in a variety of settings. She has specialized in hand therapy for 14 years, and has the distinguished honor of holding the title of Certified Hand Therapist (CHT), the highest accolade a hand specialist can have. Jo Ann is proficient in a variety of manual therapies, including soft tissue mobilization, joint mobilization of the upper extremity, and fabrication of customized splits for the upper extremities.
When working with patients, Jo Ann provides them with a variety of therapeutic exercises and activities, neuromuscular re-education, self care management, sensory re-education and integration techniques. She also provides home exercise programs that suit patients’ needs. Jo Ann loves that as a hand therapist, she helps her patients get better, achieve good outcomes, and once again become independent with their daily activities.
In her free time, enjoys spending time with her children, reading, and gardening.
