Dr. De Castro received her Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy degree from University of Perpetual Help System DALTA where she graduated as Magna Cum Laude. She passed the Physical Therapy Licensure Exam where she ranked Top 20 out of the 1056 board passers in 2002. Dr. De Castro was a member of the faculty staff for the College of Physical Therapy in her Alma Mater for 5 years.
In 2008, she joined SportsMed Physical Therapy in Clifton, New Jersey. In 2016, she went on to earn her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Dominican College of Blauvelt Athletics.
Dr. De Castro is experienced in treating patient of all ages particularly orthopedic and neuromuscular conditions. She is passionate about striving to put the well-being of her patients first. She aims to provide patients with the highest quality of rehabilitation services and is committed to help patient in achieving their maximum level of physical function. She is also dedicated in empowering her patients to participate in rehabilitation program made individually in accordance with their needs. In addition, Dr. De Castro enjoys spending time with her family, friends and an active member of her church.
Dr. Donna Nicolich was born in New York and currently resides in Northern New Jersey. She attended the Academy of Holy Angels High School and is a graduate of Douglass College, Rutgers University with a BA in Economics with a Finance and Accounting option.
Upon graduation she found herself looking for more, so she volunteered in two local hospitals in their physical therapy departments and loved it. She then switched gears and put herself through school again and obtained her doctorate degree as a Chiropractic Physician from New York Chiropractic College located in Seneca Falls, NY. She graduated Magna Cum Laude and received an award for Chiropractic Manipulation. While residing in upstate NY, she tutored other students in radiology and was involved in an organization which assisted other students starting out in the chiropractic program.
Upon graduating, she worked in Long Island, NY in a multi-disciplinary clinic. In addition, she was involved in the salvation army outreach program which provided chiropractic services to those in need. She soon moved back to New Jersey and found herself working in another multi-discipline clinic which provided physical therapy and chiropractic services and in private practice.
Dr. Nicolich currently holds a license in New Jersey and New York and has been in practice for more than 20 years. She takes pride in the care she provides to each patient. Her passion is built by the bonds she builds with her patients over the course of their lives and the enjoyment she holds in keeping them healthy.
Dr Nicolich enjoys cooking, the beach, and spending time with her family, her dog Coco, and her friends in her free time.
