I have been going to SportsMed Hohokus to get acupuncture by Chia for a little over a year now. At first, I was hesitant to start with acupuncture because my experience more than six years ago, by a different acupuncturist, was not very positive or did provide marked results, plus I was not able to relax. Since starting with Chia, I felt so much better and relaxed from the very first treatment. She is a talented and gifted acupuncturist. Chia touches on my mind, body and spirit triangle and she helps heal all three of my MBS triangle. I highly recommend Chia, she is A++!

SportsMed has been the most impactful, positive and life-changing opportunity for me since my spinal surgery. The therapy here is not only supportive physically, but emotionally as well. From the driver who picks me up to bring me to and from therapy no matter what time or the weather, to the always smiling and extremely kind front office staff and amazing therapists, this is a location that I would recommend highly to anyone. Lyn and Sam have done such an amazing job and I am so grateful to them. I was very intimidated before starting therapy but quickly learned that all the therapists are all extremely encouraging and patient. After the first week of coming here, it started to feel like a second family for me. No one has ever made me feel rushed or hurried. They do quite the opposite and let me take as long as needed. I am thankful everyday for the opportunity to come here.

I have had a great experience every single time I have gone to SportsMed so far. They called my insurance to make sure I was covered before scheduling my first appointment, which I was able to get in the very next day. Each and every single person there is so friendly and greet you by name when you arrive each time. Alyssa and Amani are both so helpful with the exercises. Lyn is a fantastic physical therapist! She always asks where I’m having pain that day and really does such a great job working out all the knots and tightness. I always feel so much better after seeing her! Dr. T, the chiropractor, is also really great too, especially since I’m there because of back pain. They are also doing weekly COVID testing to make sure all of the patients stay healthy. They make sure to sanitize all of the equipment and beds before you use them too. They’re also really great with rescheduling, which I always appreciate. They also are nice if you show up late to your appointment too. Overall, I highly recommend SportsMed for anyone needing physical therapy! I honestly am feel so much better than I was just a few weeks ago. They’re amazing!

If you need a PT place, look no further, this is the place! Everyone in the staff (assistants, physical therapist, front desk, ...) is super friendly and always willing to help. Alyssa and Amani are always there to give you a hand with a great attitude. Lin is one of the physical therapists and she is very professional and has amazing skills. She is always checking on you, your exercises, and gives you advice on how to get better. The overall friendly environment that surrounds this place is great which makes a big difference when you are working to get better. 5 out of 5 for sure!

I cannot recommend SportsMed in Ho-Ho-Kus enough. I came here after surgery for a torn MPFL and meniscus, and I am so thankful for the wonderful care. Lyn has made a huge difference in my range of motion and strength. She is great at pushing you and getting you further in your recovery than you thought you could get! Everyone in the front office is so sweet and remembers you every time you come in. I also needed to come every weekday for two weeks straight at one point, and they made it happen on very short notice. The assistants, Amani and Alyssa, have been so supportive and helpful. The chiropractor, Dr. T, also does covid tests weekly with the physical therapy patients, so it feels very safe to be here.
