The shoulder is one of the most flexible joints in the entire body. When you have an injury or when you have swelling, it is understandable how it would affect your day to day life and if you want to recover as fast as possible, you need to make sure that you start your treatment as early as possible.

How Shoulder Therapy Works

physical_therapy_small_shoulder_painWhen you come for a physical therapy session with us, we will start by evaluating the initial problem and the pain associated with this. We will then ask you questions about your day to day activities as well as some questions about your general lifestyle. On top of this, we will also ask you how long you have experienced the pain for and if it was the result of trauma or not. If the injury is a result of trauma then we may need to talk to your doctor to make sure that this is the right course of action.

Your Personalized Plan

If you are suitable for our treatments we will then create a treatment plan for you to make sure that you get everything you need.

Our physical therapy sessions normally last under an hour but it can easily be less depending on the extent of your injury and the treatment provided. Each session can also be different depending on the circumstances, so you know that we will always give you the right treatment at the right time. Some people only need a couple of treatments before they are back to 100% and other people need several treatments, but if you experience any of the below conditions, you’ll need to contact us to arrange an initial appointment.
