Dr. Joseph Li, DC

Chiropractor

Dr. Joseph Li is a born and raised Jersey boy who grew up in Parsippany. After graduating high school, he earned an academic and athletic scholarship to play tennis for Fairleigh Dickinson University and entered the accelerated pre-professional program. The college was affiliated with Logan Chiropractic College based in St. Louis, Missouri so it was only natural that his next move was starting graduate school in the Midwest. Upon starting chiropractic school, he noticed the university did a superior job supplying the students with knowledge and making sure there was a standard of education. However, he also observed there was a lack of attention in the area of spinal manipulation or the chiropractic “adjustment”, which is what distinguishes chiropractic from other physical medicine fields.

This led Dr. Li to pledge and join Pi Kappa Chi, which is a professional fraternity dedicated to becoming the best chiropractic physician one can be. The “Pis” were also known for their adroit skills and various techniques in the art of adjusting. After completing school, clinical requirements, and passing all his board exams, Dr. Li moved back to New Jersey to begin practicing. Although most people associate chiropractors with just neck and back pain, Dr. Li treats the entire body and approaches problems from a holistic point of view. He believes that one dysfunction, whether local or regional, will have an affect on the entire body and musculo-skeletal system.

While continually striving to elevate the art of chiropractic, Dr. Li also has numerous interests which can range from sports, food, wine, whiskey, music, movies, art, traveling, history, philosophy, architecture, poker, geography, etc. so patients can feel at ease to talk to him about anything.
