Dr. Charles Nesheiwat was born and raised in New Jersey. He completed his undergraduate schooling at William Paterson University with a bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology and a concentration in Exercise Science. Dr. Nesheiwat realized during his undergraduate studies that he wanted to become a Chiropractor for a more focused and one-on-one patient care experience. Before going to graduate school, Dr. Nesheiwat worked at the outpatient rehab department at Jersey City Medical Center. He then continued his education at New York Chiropractic College where he studied and learned more about the Chiropractic field.
During his clinical year at NYCC he treated students and faculty at Farmingdale University, Stonybrook University and Old Westbury College. Dr. Nesheiwat also had the privilege of helping geriatric patients with the Salvation Army. Because of the multiple settings, he has worked in, Dr. Nesheiwat has had the ability to help all different types of patients.
Dr. Nesheiwat became a member of the Student American Chiropractic Association during his time at NYCC. He worked hard to achieve the Dean’s List during various points of his academic career. Near the end of his academic career, Dr Nesheiwat was nominated for the D.D. Palmer Memorial Award. This award recognized students who had participated in activities that educated the public on the benefits of chiropractic and/or activities that serve to further the advancement of the profession. Dr. Nesheiwat is proud to be working at SportsMed Physical Therapy in his home state of New Jersey, where he can provide individualized care to patients.
