Dr. Mary Alvarado DC, DABCI completed her Bachelor of Arts degree in Life Sciences at Bloomfield University. She later earned her Doctorate of Chiropractic (DC) from Life University; she is a also a Diplomate from the American Board of Chiropractic Internists (DABCI #393).
Dr. Alvarado has over 23 years of clinical experience serving patients in Georgia, Florida, Colorado and New Jersey. She has always been passionate about chiropractic as well as a number of other health topics, including: functional medicine, nutrition, ergonomics, postural rehabilitation, exercise physiology, custom foot orthotics, backpack safety, scoliosis care (Clear Institute trained), nasal-specific (sinus) techniques for optimizing sinus health, and peripheral neuropathy.
Dr. Alvarado absolutely loves helping patients of all ages & concerns, including kids (pediatric), elderly (geriatric), adults, athletes, and patients suffering with disc degeneration or bulging/herniated discs. Her most specialized techniques include: Diversified, SOT/Craniosacral, Activator/Arthrostim, Thompson-Drop, Graston/Active Release, and KinesioTaping methods, among others. To Dr. Alvarado, the biggest reward she experiences helping patients through chiropractic has been seeing the miracles of healing occur right before her eyes.
Dr. Alvarado’s motto has always been: “Life is Motion!” She believes embracing life, keeping it moving and living optimally is key! Her hobbies include: paddle boarding, water-skiing, playing tennis, going to the beach, knee/skim/snow boarding, zip-lining and hanging out with her favorite pup, “Dakota!”
