This place is wonderful from the front office to the therapists! My 12 year old has a shoulder injury and they have been amazing help. The front office staff is always friendly and welcoming, they know your name and make you truly feel welcome. I recommend sticking with the same therapist throughout treatment if you can. Fit my son, Sweta has been amazing. He feels comfortable and she understands what he needs for his injury. It’s truly helping him manage and heal. Not all PT is the same, this place is a gem!

I recently finished my physical therapy at SportsMed on Claremont Avenue in Montclair. From the moment I walked in—greeted by Kim and Sarais—and met the therapists who would be helping me with my foot, back, shoulder, and rib injuries, I felt I would be in caring hands. The team was great at explaining my treatment plan and were always patient while coaching me through the process. I started with numerous exercises and always appreciated how they’d keep an eye on me to make sure I was doing each one the appropriate way. Their personalities and calm approach also helped greatly, especially on the tougher days when I was feeling frustrated. Yet it was more than worth it since each of my injuries have healed. Big thanks to the amazing group that worked on me including Swêta, Jon, Dr. G, Kyla, Mo, and Malhar. Each one played a role in helping me recover, and they were all fantastic.

Front desk staff is very kind and professional. Therapists are also very interested and concerned in my well-being. Very helpful when I am not sure if I am doing the exercises correctly. On hand and very watchful of my progression.

I went to see Sweta after a *horrible* experience elsewhere and the treatment I got at SportsMed was night and day! I felt better in a much shorter timeline than expected, and was totally healed in just a few weeks. Sweta is an incredible practitioner and wonderful person, and the rest of the staff was kind and knowledgable. The facilities are really nice, bright and clean. Highly recommend!

I have had a very good experience at SportsMed. Stephanie is my occupational therapist. She is knowledgeable, personable, professional and communicates very well. I highly recommend SportsMed to others who need occupational therapy services.
