Sungsim Yun is National Board-Certified Acupuncturist by NCCAOM (National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine).
She holds a certification in Clean Needle Techniques from the CCAOM (Council of Colleges of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine). She received her Master of Science degree in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (M.S.O.M) from South Baylor University in California.
Sungsim loves acupuncture because it’s one of the few modalities that can help with so many different conditions. She enjoys her work and is truly inspired by her patients, who are some of the strongest, most resilient people she knows.
“We all have stressful, crazy days, and it’s so important to make time for the things that make you feel good. Like me, acupuncture is a bit of an adventurer—it’s always up for trying new things and being surprised by what it can help with when you least expect it! That’s because acupuncture is one of the most versatile therapies around. It can be used to address a wide range of issues from pain management to sleep problems and even weight loss.”
She is licensed in both New Jersey and California and nationally certified in Chinese herbal medicine.
