So what does it mean to be “in close contact” to someone with COVID-19?
According to the CDC, “close contact” is defined as: being within 6 feet of someone who has a confirmed case of COVID-19 for a total of 15 minutes or more over the course of 24 hours.
What do I do if I have symptoms or have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19?
In the event you have possible symptoms or had a confirmed exposure to someone with COVID-19, the current CDC guidelines on quarantining are based on vaccination status.
