January 2017 Success Stories
Gymnast Julianna came to SportsMed Physical Therapy of Glen Rock, New Jersey after she started experiencing severe heel pain on her right ankle.
For the past two months, her treating physical therapist and the staff of SportsMed Physical Therapy of Glen Rock dedicated themselves to get Julianna back to the sport she loves.
Her treatment plan included various foot and lower extremity exercises to regain the strength loss in the injured ankle. Stretches, manual therapy, and rehab modalities also played important roles in easing her discomfort and pain.
Today, Julianna is pain free and able to perform at her best again, for her gymnastic competitions.
Mary Ellen has been going to SportsMed Physical Therapy of Glen Rock, New Jersey for different concerns.
In early June of 2016, her doctor referred her to us for lumbar radiculopathy. A variety of low back and lower extremity exercises and stretches greatly alleviated the constant pain she experienced for years.
Soon after, Mary Ellen again entrusted her physical therapy with us for bilateral achilles tendonitis. Her dedication to her treatment plan and the committed staff of SportsMed Physical Therapy of Glen Rock has completed her experience as a whole.
Mary Ellen is really upset to leave us but is so grateful for her new found health.
Anna Zagorodnaya came to SportsMed Physical Therapy of Fair Lawn Nj for various concerns which included pain in the right shoulder, right knee, lumbar region, and vertigo symptoms.
For the past five months, Anna worked closely with her treating physical therapist and all the staff to combat her ailments.
Her treatment plan included manual therapy, rehab modalities, and strengthening exercises. In addition, the Alter-G Anti-Gravity Treadmill greatly enhanced her recovery.
Today, Anna graduates from physical therapy and we are very proud to be part of her journey!
Romeo Kirshenbaum was referred by his doctor to SportsMed Physical Therapy of Fair Lawn, New Jersey for right hip pain.
For several months, Romeo’s treatment plan included a variety of stretches and lower extremity exercises to get him back on his feet. Manual therapy and rehab modalities were also incorporated to his treatment plan to alleviate the pain in his hip.
His treating physical therapist and all of the SportsMed of Fair Lawn staff were very dedicated in Romeo’s recovery.
He graduates today from physical therapy, pain-free and very hopeful in carrying on with his daily life activities!
