February 2017 Success Stories
Sherone was referred to SportsMed Physical Therapy of Glen Rock, New Jersey for vertigo/dizziness.
Her difficulty in her current condition prevented her from basic life activities such as getting in and out of bed, standing up from a seated position, and picking up objects where it required her to bend her head down.
Her treating physical therapist included variety of strengthening neck exercises to strengthen her neck muscles.
Her treatment plan also focused on correcting her body mechanics so that the dizziness would subside.
Sherone absolutely loved coming to physical therapy and worked hard alongside the whole SportsMed Physical Therapy of Glen Rock team.
Ann came to SportsMed Physical Therapy of Glen Rock, New Jersey after she had her right knee arthroscopic surgery.
Ann lives a very active lifestyle and dedicated her time three days per week, for her physical therapy sessions.
Her treating physical therapist focused on strengthening her lower extremities to be able to get back to her busy life.
Her treatment initially included simple leg exercises and gradually worked up to more challenging exercises as she progressed. Electric stimulation, icing, and manual therapy also made a big difference in her level of pain.
Today, she graduates from physical therapy and we cannot be happy with all her hard work!
Robert came to SportsMed Physical Therapy of Fair Lawn, New Jersey for hemiplegia affecting the right dominant side of his body.
His treating physical therapist focused on variety of strengthening exercises to recover the significant amount of weakness he has experienced.
The AlterG, Anti-Gravity Treadmill Machine, we have at SportsMed Physical Therapy has made a huge difference in his mobility and strength.
